Students study weather in all its stillness and fury. They examine and use thermometers and find out why a change in temperature might also mean a change in clothes. Teachers share their ideas for hands-on activities, including encouraging students to walk in the rain to better understand the force of a downpour, or collecting snowflakes so they can see for themselves that each one really is different.
