Succeeding As A Teacher
Our Succeeding As a Teacher series is a collection of programs carefully researched and designed to give new teachers the skills they need to create successful K-8 classrooms. It’s also an excellent refresher course for experienced teachers interested in picking up some new ideas.
Based on current research and literature, and adhering to the standards issued by the New Teacher Assessment and Support Consortium and the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education, these four films demonstrate how teachers can advance student achievement through:
• effective instructional planning
• positive classroom management
• instructional strategy
• communication and professionalism
Whether your setting is a college education course, an in-service training workshop, a mentoring system, or a library media center, you’ll find these programs a tremendous asset.
