Connecting Boundaries
This four-part series is designed to stimulate discussion in an environment where learners, particularly at the undergraduate level, have not yet had an opportunity to work with directly with clients. The primary goal of the series is to connect the theoretical and the practical by using an integrative approach to social work, human growth and development, addictions and criminal justice studies. Combining didactic and experiential teaching and learning strategies allows for the use of this model in the classroom or in agency, corporate, or institutional settings.
The participants in this series did not rehearse a script, but combined their perceptions of theory, practice and life experiences in their own words.
